Roadmap to Return to Play
Following the government’s recent announcements on a exit from lockdown, Petanque England have issued a Roadmap to Return to Play, which can be found here: https://www.petanque-england.uk/2021/02/23/the-roadmap-to-play/ If all goes well, therefore, we could be re-starting our Club Sessions from March 29th. Here’s hoping.
Tier 4 – Club Sessions Suspended
As London went into Tier 4 from midnight, all organised club activity is now suspended. The piste is available for socially distanced play, subject to the government Tier 4 guidelines. We hope to back at some point in the new year.
Club Sessions to Start Again
The general Covid lockdown is due to end at midnight on December 1st, and Croydon is expected to be in Tier 2 from December 2nd. In accordance with the new regulations, Croydon Petanque Club is now closed until (at least) December 3rd. Club sessions will not be taking place during this period.
