Following the reaching of the final dates for League matches, we have published the final versions of the League tables and the Marathon and Grand Prix. These can all be found on the 2024 Competition Results page at 2024 Competition Results.
The Singles League in particular is becoming very popular with 18 players, with every player either completing their fixtures, or finishing with just 1 to play. Unfortunately, all of those were due to be against the same player who finished 10 short. As the missing results did not affect the major placings, the results were left.
In the Doubles League we had to expunge the results of 2 pairs, following a season-ending injury to 1 player and the departure of another. Happily all the remaining matches were played.
Terry Eames and Ash Patel played the final of the Singles Knockout Cup, Terry emerging as the winner 13-5.
Congratulations to all the winners, well done to all those who did better than they expected, and commiserations and “better luck next season” to everyone else.
