On Saturday 9th, and after 2 weather related postponements, we finally got to hold the Jean Hope Shooting competition during the lunch break of the President’s Shield.
10 players chose to take part in the Shooting Competition, which was run to Petanque England rules, with 1 small addition of our own. Each player threw 3 times from each of 3 (increasing) distances, so 9 throws each, at a 1metre target circle with a target ball at its centre. The winner of the competition was Mike Azzopardi, with David Randall finishing 2nd.
