We’ve had a couple of competition days recently, so let’s bring you up to date.
On June 25th, we had our Past Members’ Memorial competition, which we have as a charity day.
The weather was extremely warm and 14 players toiled through 5 sessions. The day was won by Terry Eames, with Robin Reid 2nd and Linda Greenwood 3rd.
Last Wednesday, July 12th, we held our Midweek Masters competition in much cooler weather, even with a couple of rain showers. 13 Players played a full day of 6 sessions. The winner, with 5 wins, was Terry Eames, with Richard Scrimshaw also picking up 5 wins, but coming 2nd on points difference. 3rd was Robin Reid, with the best points difference of 3 players who finished with 4 wins.
